stop skipping weekend posts
in fact, you should start focusing on them more than weekdays
i analysed over 230 of my linkedin posts (oh yes we're bringing this series back) and surprisingly, my best day (by far) was sunday
and yet ALL THE TIME i see posts telling you not to even bother posting on the weekend
(because for some reason there's this notion that weekend posts never do well, and so it's just a waste of time)
so let me show you what my data showed instead:
on sundays, 46% of posts beat my average numbers (compare this to the wednesdays where only 20% of posts beat my average)
now i'm sure that the actual day probably isn't the main factor behind this- maybe it's just that i have more time, or am more reflective, or simply write better on sundays for some reason-
but what it does prove is that the 'never post on weekends' rule is a complete myth
and it's not just my data that proves this-
i interviewed a founder with 400k followers on here yesterday (more on that soon!!!) and he said the same thing- that he actually uses the weekends to experiment with new stories and types of posts
sooo go on go write those weekend posts for tomorrow :)
