go stalk this one person
(feel free to be as judgy as you want too)
but it's going to help you become a way better creator
and that person is... you
genuinely, this is such a good exercise for you to do. i just went back through the past few months of my own linkedin and it was super helpful
three big reasons why:
1. it just reminded me of some of my top performers (some that i'd simply just forgotten writing, and others that performed better than i remembered)
(and i know i have this all in that massive spreadsheet, but it's one thing to read an analysis and another to actually re-remember the posts, and the person you were when you wrote them)
2. there's something so nostalgic to be able to look back at past posts
and maybe it's just because i write something every day on here, but it's pretty cool to be able to look back and so clearly see how you evolve (not just in voice or metrics but in ideas and taste)
and 3. it just puts everything into perspective. i'll go past milestones that i remember being so proud of, and now realise that i've since come so much further
and just as importantly, i'll see days where something i was dealing with felt like something i'd never get past
and from the other side, i can now realise that neither of those extremes were ever as bad or as great as they felt in the moment
plus it's just kinda fun. and there's so much more i'm sure you'll get out of it, i know it really helped give me some inspiration today
so go on, enjoy your stalk of past you :)
