if you're non-technical building your own website

you NEED to run this test

(it's free and takes like fifteen seconds)

and just to start, i feel like all my technical readers are going to hate me for this one (because maybe this is super obvious), but bear with me-

there's something called pagespeed.web.dev and you just paste in your website and it gives it a score out of 100

(ranking it on seo, agentic browsing, performance etc)

(and just in case i have to clarify, this isn't sponsored or anything, just something i found for myself today that i thought was cool)

and especially if you aren't technical, and are just building on what looks prettiest (aka you're me), this can really help show you if you have any gaps that are hurting your site

plus it's just kind of fun to see how different websites (your own or others) are doing :)
