i realised there's one thing that i changed to get here

and you can literally see the day it happened on that graph

(and for anyone keeping track, that day was december 27th- exactly 239 days, or posts, ago)

and what changed was the most simple thing (and at the same time, the hardest)-

just actually starting.

back then, i set a goal that i wanted to post one thing every day for at least 60 days

and to be honest, daily posting was something i had thought about for a while- something i'd even started planning for, writing content out so that when i started it would be PERFECT

and the problem with that is that it never was. i never had enough posts banked, they were never 'good-enough', there was always some excuse i'd come up with

and for all the time i spent ideating ABOUT daily posting, it made absolutely no difference to that graph below. because nothing at all was actually happening.

and it wasn't until i put out that first post and just committed (TRULY committed) to this, that that graph started moving upwards

and i know this advice is relatively straightforward, but i'm posting this because i know what it's like to need a little push sometimes-

a push to do the thing you've been putting off, to just start doing, to embrace embarrassment and being uncomfortable

so please... let this be your push.

and let's get those graphs moving upwards!!!
