my very first linkedin irl meetup

after 156 days of posting on here, and countless coffee chats, i finallyyy got to do an in-person meetup

and calls are amazing to get to know people, but there's something so special about actually meeting face to face

where you can just walk the city and talk business and linkedin and just general life

and all of that comes back to this platform

because while everyone always jokes about how this isn't a "professional networking" platform anymore, it still has the most insane power to connect like-minded people

and when you start surrounding yourself with those people, it really begins to open your realm of possibilities

you start seeing opportunities everywhere, start getting access to rooms you'd never have before, start getting to have conversations you'd never have otherwise

and for that, i will forever be grateful to LinkedIn

(and to Carter, it was so great to finally get to meet you!!!)
