once you make a viral series, you win the content game

this is mine (and all the ones that failed earlier)

firstly, what i mean by a 'viral series' is just a specific idea/category that you can write a ton of posts under (that somehow all tie together)

an example of this is day 1 of building x, or ten marketing secrets (released over 10 posts), or basically any multi-part post

and it is HARD to find one that works (trust me) but once you do, you are literally SET

so firstly, what failed for me?

- stickyz (a story from a founder i'd interviewed told through a stick-figure carousel) (lowkey i love this idea so maybe i'll try it again later)

- sprint to yc (this one did SO well at first, then slowly dropped off, and ultimately i left the project since it was just a short-term position for me)

- race to 4k followers (real ones will remember when i took over caden's account for the day)

and after a lot more of flopped series i no longer remember, i finally found one that works for me-

analysing my past posts (since i have so many now, there's a ton of data) to find the nichest tips on how to maximise growth and win on the linkedin algo

and creating a series like this will help you soooo much

because suddenly idea generation is that much easier, people start to follow you to see the next part of the series, and you can begin to be known for something specific

so after all those failed ones, i've tried to conclude for you guys what actually works on here-

first, something that doesn't fatigue (any day 1 of x, or trying to get to a certain target, gets old extremely fast. it seems to work on other platforms, but on here, i've just seen it create content fatigue)

and secondly, constant value addition. that's why i think this series works so well- there's always a new finding in the posts, rather than just a continuation of a story about me

and once you find YOUR harmony between those two, this entire game becomes set to easy mode ;)
