stop scheduling your posts

it's going to kill you as a creator

i see a lot of posts on here saying that you should just batch your content- spend one full day writing and then not even have to think about linkedin for the rest of the month

basically just a hack to have consistent posts

but when you write that way, then you actually end up losing most of the benefits that consistency actually gives you

because yes, the algorithm rewards it. but i'd argue that what makes consistency so important is simply what it teaches you as a creator-

every day, you are constantly learning and evolving- getting a feel for what works, what doesn't. you're pushing yourself to always be ideating, always be creating

and when you batch posts over a long period of time, you're losing the ability to develop that muscle

plus, you should be trying to learn at such a rate that every post is better than the last, and your style and content is constantly evolving

now i'm not saying scheduling is inherently bad- i often use it on the day if i don't know when i'll be home, or if i'm going on a trip without wifi etc

but just make sure it doesn't take away the most important thing we have as creators- the ability to constantly practice and grow
